Buried here are famous Indian chiefs and pioneers, including George Biernes, Cataline, Dick Sargent, James May and Dave Wiggins.  

Twenty-two Indian grave-houses formerly stood in the cemetary. 

Stone markers tell to which tribe ancient chieftains belonged. 

A magnificent view of the junction of the Skeena and the Bulkley rivers can be seen from the brow of the hill.
