Fraser Lake Museum

Discover the town’s history at the Fraser Lake Museum located at the Visitor Information Centre. Situated in an elegant two story log-home, the museum and the exterior displays host artifacts from the rich culture of the Dakelh First Nations and from the European families who first settled in the area in 1914. The museum has exhibits which include blacksmithing, a stuffed beaver and trumpeter swans, heritage quilts, and a fully restored and furnished pioneer log house. Come visit the Fraser Lake museum and discover the local history at your own leisure and meet the friendly staff. The Fraser Lake museum is also the home of the tourist information bureau.
