Fraser Lake

Fraser Lake is the halfway point on Highway 16 between Jasper and Prince Rupert. Just two hours west of Prince George, the area offers beautiful resorts, countless recreation opportunities and access to numerous lakes and rivers.

The area is rich in history. Simon Fraser created a settlement at the East end of Fraser Lake in 1806, and the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway was completed at Fort Fraser in 1914. The area has also long been the home of the Carrier Indian People.
